Contests are designed to incentivize many fans to perform social actions for the chance to win a reward. The more social actions a fan performs, the higher the chances they will win the reward. Contests are different from social unlocks in that typically only a few fans will receive a reward after entering a contest, while in a social unlock every fan receives the reward. This means that contests typically offer a high-value reward, such as VIP concert tickets or physical merchandise.
